Blacksmith Cottage Didbrook
Blacksmithing Courses are being offered by Blacksmith Dan Prendergast at Didbrook Forge, one of the oldest working forges in the country.
Dan Prendergast is a blacksmith of some ten years’ experience who specializes in traditional forgework. In the relaxed and atmospheric environment of Didbrook’s 17th Century forge, he offers courses in basic blacksmithing and intermediate blacksmithing, as well as providing courses in special toolmaking. There is also the capacity for students to realize particular projects of their own design.
Courses are limited to a maximum of two people, which allows Dan to give ample attention to the progress of each student, and are very flexible in terms of content, but are of a minimum one day duration. Cost £130.
