How to find The Stanton Guildhouse

BY CAR:

From London/South-East. After Oxford take the A40 West. At Burford (A361) take the A424 through Stow-in-the-Wold, to Broadway. Alternatively from Oxford take the A44 (to Evesham) until Broadway.
From the North and the Midlands. Take the A46 to Evesham then the A44 from Oxford towards Broadway.
From the North, via the M5. Leave the M5 at junction 7. Take the A44 to Evesham and on to Broadway, on the A44 from Oxford.

At Broadway enter the village and take the B4632 to Winchcombe and Cheltenham (also signed for Sudeley Castle). The exit for Stanton village is after approximately 3 miles. First you will pass the exits for Buckland and Leverton. Take the turn off the B4632 to Stanton.

From the South-West via the M5. Leave the M5 at junction 9. Take the A46 and on to the B4077 (Stow), due East, until the roundabout just after Toddington village. Take the B4632 North to Broadway (and Stratford-Upon-Avon), which is the first exit. Take the exit to Stanton after approximately 2 miles.

At certain busy and seasonal times of the year it may be quicker to use the following alternative route: Take the A40 from Oxford to Burford. Take the A424 to Stow on the Wold. Then take the B4077 from Stow on the Wold to Toddington roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout onto the B4632 towards Broadway. Stanton is signposted on the right.

On Taking the Stanton exits, you will travel approximately 2/3 mile before arriving in the village. There is a broad, inverted "Y" shaped junction. Turn up into the broad high street and continue straight on past the Cross war memorial on the left. Continue up hill, keeping left, and on to the Mount Inn pub. Driving up the steep single lane past the pub, continue straight on and up into the Guildhouse driveway. You will find ample parking both at the house and half way up the drive.

Evesham (8 miles) and Moreton-in-Marsh (11 miles) is on the direct Hereford to Paddington line. Journey time: approximately 1hr 40 mins.

Evesham also connects services to Worcester, Birmingham and the North.

Cheltenham Spa (12 miles) connects to London and the South-West.

BY BUS:

There are regular bus services from all surrounding towns to Stanton.
